1. You take my classes at your own risk. You will be required to sign a statement to that effect before class starts. Cooking can be dangerous, and people sometimes get hurt. Learning more about what you’re doing in the kitchen means this should be less likely, but it is always possible. Such is life.
2. For safety reasons, you must wear trousers or a skirt that come to at least below the knee, and closed-toe shoes. Absolutely no bare feet, sandals, or flip-flops can be permitted.
3. For sanitary reasons, you must wear a hat, bandanna, kerchief, headscarf, or other head covering that contains and covers your hair. Baseball hats are fine. If your hair is long, please pull it back or put it up, as well.
4. Wash your hands early and often, and always after you use the bathroom or touch your face, hair, or clothes.
5. Taste with a clean spoon or chopstick only, then put your tasting implement directly into the wash tub.
6. Any balance due on class fees must be paid at the start of class.
